You don't have to convert your marker to air, just buy an air tank.
You don't have to convert your marker to air, just buy an air tank.
The only thing about air is a higher initial investment because of the price of the tanks. However once you get past that you will notice vastly superior air performance and consistent pressure/velocity over CO2.
So to outline a basic list of the basics:
1) Gun/hopper/barrel combo
2) Good inexpensive pod pack/4 pods per person is a good start
3) Gloves! You'll appreciate them once you get shot in the hands a couple times.
4) trash rags/paper towels/spray bottle with water
5) Barrel cleaner (one popped ball in the barrel can ruin your day without one)
6) Some good camo/field gear, comfortable to run in and offers the kind of protection YOU are looking for.
And that's about it to start, really.
Ecstasis you forgot the most important item!!!
A good mask, something that gives you comfort and provides great protection. A good mask can make or break your playing experience.
And if you play in the woods get a good bug spray.![]()
Haha, this is true! How could I forget!
My advice would be, now that I've been reminded, is that this is the ONE item you want to splurge on more than anything. Cheap masks don't cut it. Spend some cash, get a nice one that doesn't fog easily, fits nicely, and offers a wide field of vision.
