Thread: Red vs Blue, Camp Blanding [27-28 Sep. 2008]

Like last time, You can get ALL the quasi celebs you want and yourney players...this is NOT toiurney ball.

They will have one thing against them, their individuality. ALOT of the teams signed up have played WITH or AGAINST each other ALOT, they know how they work, what they do, and Im not just talking about ones in this board, Im talking about the ones who are signed up but not active in this board. Those on blue, their individuality will get them, they wont pull together, they WONT work as one, it happened last time, they ALL do their own thing, because they dont know how not to.

CAREFUL it is not just celebs/vips signing up for Blue there are some really good big name scenario teams that are well organized that are signing up, they are just not into the smack talk. And don't forget there General has played Scenario, and he has been a General in other games. Not to mention "TB" who has a lottttt of experience.

Joe, is there ANY chance that you're going to release a list with the team names that have registered for each side at a reasonable time before the event?

I will work on that but will wait till Registration is closed.

When will it close?

sept 1st i think. thats the pre reg close.

Pre Reg. closes Aug.31st. I do not know yet if we are doing anymore online registration after.

Maybe posting their teams/names online where everyone can see will encourage MORE players to sign up. I mean, what 16 year-old worshiper of the inflatable bunker would pass up the opportunity to fight alongside the legendary Rocky C, Mike Paxton and Mystery Baller X? And if Lawrence decides to have Kerry come on his side, there are bazillions of Texas style teams who'll want to join the ranks of the Blue. Seems like it would promote SOME kind of pre game psychological warfare. As it stands right now, this is an ANTI-thesis for this kind of game. We need stimulation! I can tell that Scott is ready to hang the dude that wears the bear suit at Chuck E. Cheese and whip him with his Granny's rug beater just to get some frustration out... 4:

Jester is right, im 20 and would love to play along side of Rocky and Mike. Mike is the backman for the current World Champs, but i'm not playing along side of them cause Jedi signed up for Blue so i will shoot them all in their face. I notice people keep saying this is not tourney ball. Quit hating on them. I play local tourneys and me and the friends i play with are 6-0 on Mout games and only the last game was when we were on a Scenario team. That style of play is for Mout; Fast, wreckless, and stupid is the way to go.

whoa slow your roll there homie. all were trying to say here is that ramping, sliding headfirst into bunkers, and magicallymaking visible hits disappear isnt gonna helpwin this game. if you pay attention most people are actually speaking of paxsons ability to run an aggressive and somewhat organized team. FACE!
