I notice people keep saying this is not tourney ball. Quit hating on them. I play local tourneys and me and the friends i play with are 6-0 on Mout games and only the last game was when we were on a Scenario team. That style of play is for Mout; Fast, wreckless, and stupid is the way to go.
To correct Show....we are not "signed up for blue".

I think everyone knows (Cept maybe Show) that when tourney ballers are discussed on here...that they are really being stereotyped as a 16 year old brat with a $1500 marker that hasnt developed the integrity to play this game.

As in any sport..there are exceptions to every rule.

And for the record...Show doesnt need to ramp (boys got quick fingers), there is no sliding in his game...maybe "running" headfirst into a bunker (or wall), and big guys take bounces..so no need to wisk away hits lol.

whos hating on them? when ppl said "this is not tourney ball" they were not reffering to or knocking the style of play or technique, they were reffering to the fact that its not as simple as tourney. there are more objectives going on than just poppin ppl out.

and if i was a big tourney guy myself, i would much rather have the bragging rights of saying i played AGAINST the pros instead of saying i played alongside them. so your actually on the better end of the deal. what better feat than to say that you went up against famous player x and mowed his face off.

in my opinion, a mout field provides the best of both worlds. tourney technique and scenario technique have equal reign on the mout field when it comes down to just pure shootin. to me theres no difference between poppin out a dude in the oil can or dorito or poppin him out from a window or on a corner.

I do not have anything against tourney ball, rec ball, air ball...although air soft..not so much..lol.

    My impression is:

This is NOT tourney ball, meaning, a 100'x200' rectangle where you KNOW where you opponent will be, and how many are there.
This is a 26 acre mini City surrouinded by wooded areas, you dont know where anyone is.

There are some GREAT tourney players that just loose it in scenario ball....its a different game, not saying they all do, or a majority do, just that there are some that go in with one misconception and leave covered, just like there are scenario players that would NEVER make it in tourney.

OK this is the way i see it if you play paintball and can shoot and hit what you aim at you can most likely do it in either game. Now as for sliding diving etc you do what you have to do to win. I weigh 240 and try not to slide dive or anything that may be considered too stressful.......unless you shoot at me then i will run slide dive or do what ever it takes to shoot you in the face. I have even carried another player on my shoulders to give them the height to shoot further. So am I a tourney player or scenario player ? I choose to be a hybrid of both because I think you can learn from both.....now about them damn blow up things they hide behind...where is my dart gun lol
