Well, I've been trying for over a week to get support for the upgrade from blog 1.0.5 to 2.0.1 and never received a reply so I took matters into my own hands. Basically there wasn't that much activity in the blogs to be too terribly concerned so I removed the old version, fixed the database errors and upgraded to the new version.
