So saturday i was able to sleep in a little woke up around 7 45 am and got my pants and under armour on and grabbed my bag and i was ready to go ,roughly it takes about a 15 minute drive down to s/c so i had plenty of time when i got there to chrono and gear up and still have time to spare before morning rules.
So first field up was Baghdad which is like a urban combat style mostly burnt out buildings witha bus in the middle of the field and cars and truck shells about on the flanks,The fact that this was a private group by the guys from M.V.P paintball meant that they had a mix of tourney players and noobies ...Just for laughs it was decided that we would running the tourney guys vs noobies since there was about 11 of us vs 33 noobies on baghdad its turned out to be a bit of kill fest we ended up with all 11 of us alive at the end of the game ,i went thru 4 pods and a hopper full with a 5 minute period and it was a blast my Geo was shooting well with the new CP 2pc on it ,so we flipped and ran the same sides again,same results Except i was the only guy out i was nailed on the hip by 1 of my own guys ,but again i was having a blast out there ...
Next up BOSNIA this is the centerpiece @ S/C helicopters and trenches and bunkers galore ,When i was loading up at my car for Bosnia i was switching paint over to Weapons Grade i had been shooting XO Industries on Baghdad and it was pretty good stuff but all i had left was some Weapons Grade ..Withing seconds of game on i t was break spray brake so i hunkered down behind a box and cleaned out the goo ,Again same results so i thought maybe This paint doesnt work with my Geo (i was kinda bummed as i was off to a great start for the day ).
So i ran back to the car and switched up to my Etek 3 with Magna hopper (ive found that my magna hoppers are a little bit more easy on paint vs a halo or reloader b)...
So i was able to get back on the field in time for the whistle for game 2..i make a brake for the bunker system and i have a guy lined up and BAMMMMMM i rip off a rope and 3 balls zip right into his area ,so im thinking ok paint woes over .... not so fast within seconds its the same old story Chop Chop Chop ...At this point i just say F#@# it and walk off and pack up my gear i was just sooo pissed this is the 1st time that ive ever had to leave early because of paint issues ,usually the Planet Eclipse markers shoot fine with any paint i guess Saturday must have been a rare day where i had brittle paint and it just wasnt meant to be ....Atleast on the positive side i have the display on Baghdad to keep me going till i play again (probably Superbowl Sunday )....

P.s ive decided to put my A-5 up for sale ,it had just been collecting dust so if it sells soon i might be picking up another etek3 but this time the LT version ....
