Tippmann-Sponsored Scenario Team Now Backed by Valken Sports, TechT Paintball, Medusa Paintball and Saints Paintball
Salt Lake City, Utah - February 5, 2010 - Bad Karma, a scenario, big game and CQB team from Salt Lake City, Utah, today announced four new partnerships on the heels of its sponsorship by industry giant, Tippmann. The deals span new and established manufactures Valken, TechT Paintball and Medusa Paintball, as well as regional retail presence–Saints Paintball.
Bad Karma will run Valken's new V-Tac line of scenario gear, including new Sierra Jerseys, Sierra Pants and other products in the line. "We were very excited when Valken announced the V-Tac line," said Chris Frank, Team Co-Founder and X.O. "There are extensive gear options, so our players can run all different types of setups while all wearing the same camo pattern." Team Commander Jared Bronson added, "Some initial products we've gotten in are very high quality. We're looking forward to getting fully outfitted and standardizing on the Valken V-Tac gear for 2010."
For all the team's new Tippmann X7 Phenoms, which they anticipate to receive sometime in February, they will exclusively run TechT performance parts. This includes the legendary Squishy Paddles, Vortex Mod, Q.E.P.H. and Lightning Rod. "I have always run TechT products in my A-5's, X7's and now X7 Phenom's," said Bronson. "It's like juicing up a muscle car. Just that much better."
Somewhat of a phenomenon on the team, even prior to their partnership, was the use of Medusa Paintball's unique line of pack systems. The systems enable paintball players to run pod-less setups with longer tubes that can be easily squeezed at one end to refill loaders. Capacities from 350 to over 2000 paintballs accommodate just about any style of play. "Running without pods eliminates so many hassles when you're playing a scenario game," said Frank. "You don't fumble with pods in a firefight or worry about losing them."
Rounding out the new partnerships is local retail presence, Saints Paintball. The company is an important partner at league and scenario events in the region. They carry an expanding line of products and provide marker troubleshooting and repair services. "It's important for us to support teams that we feel know how to not only play, but build the community," said Sterling Chin at Saints Paintball. "Bad Karma is definitely one of those teams."
