17lbs 10" Beard 1"spurs

Nicccccccce one man.

Zac's (20/20) big fish, the state record is 60# for this kind of fish. I never weighed it, but I think 60 #'s was in jepardy.

My 9 point (if you count broken off tines) taken with a bow as F-Bomb watched (way cool to get a deer with a bow as your kid watches)

Sure looks like it to me.I shot a lot of carp and gar with my bow and fishing arrow back in the good ol' days at Lake Murray.

The game warden said it was a "Buffalo". He just saw the picture. He said we probably had a state record if it was weight "officially". I don't know how to weigh them officially. (state record was like 59.? lbs) Zac caught it on a Zebco 33, with 8 lb test. It took about 20 minutes. I had to get in the water to get it out, then it started to flop around and Zac's yellin at me to not let it get loose. I was laying on it like a wrestler. I looked at him and said "This is all I can do." It was probably pretty funny looking. It fought harder on land than in the water to me. I had a rather large stringer of rope and ended up dragging it back to the truck. I got tired of holding it up.

i shot this baby in south west texad it was worth the wait.

I hope you guys ate them & didn't just kill "for sport"
