Appalchian Woodsball League

New League in East TN/SW VA, NW NC open to all... That's Appalachian Woodsball League (fubar'd it)

A wide open format of 3 different fields with varying scenarios and landscape, all incorporating woods and urban style tactics.
It will be scenario based team competition, for 3 & 5 player teams, game time limits apply. The AWL will have it's own refs sanctioned and trained in PPL and other industry referee guidelines. Safety first fairness second with the overall game of Paintball in mind. The good times are up to you.

The entry is $30 for a league pass to all 3 league games, plus that gets you into the Championship game.
Dates to remember:
OCT (1st wkend SAT) all day! all day compressed $10, League paint TBA.
NOV (1st wkend SAT) all day! all day compressed $10, League paint TBA.
DEC (1st wkend SAT) all day! all day compressed $10, League paint TBA.
Championship the 2nd SAT in DEC same as above!

We are establishing a points system for league play. The points structure will be flexible enough so a missed game due to unforeseeable life things wouldn't knock your team out of the points race.

As I get the info the first game is going to be at splattag-n.com in Elizabethton, TN OCT 6.
NOTE: League start changed to Nov3 at TAS, check the web site appywl.com

They are choosing the next two fields for the Nov & Dec games now so by Sept 10 we should have the details on those games, then the Championship in Dec is going to be solid by Sept17. Tennessee in Dec is cool enough but not too bad. Schedule your team.

The owners nailed down the Leagues first three games and the Championship game.

Thealternativesport.com Kingsport woodsball field gets the first game
\ Nov 3rd.

Splattag-n.com Elizabethton,TN gets the second game Nov 17th, and the Championship Dec 15th!!

The third game is at playpaintballnow.com Fall Branch, TN Dec 1st.

Signup at each fields website or field, $30 gets you registered for all three plus the Championship game.

Thats the latest I'm in.

You can fax the team names and stuff over and they'll charge you that way.

This League is going to be good for the begginers that haven't been able to make the out of town games..

Yo havokrooster,

Three fields are getting together to make a league with each field holding a tournament and a championship tourney at the end.

We are doing a kickoff tourney on 12/29th to get our name out there and to get the appywl started.
All three fields can hold scenario/woodsball/or urban type games.
The splattag-n field has all you could imagine in one field, even some speedball tactics work on our field.

We have a field team Wolfpack that is practicing most Sats at 1pm come on by with your crew check us out.
