Information can be obtained at our website at Palmetto Paintball of Sumter, SC - Home

Game Type Details:

Open Book: Teams are given a list of objectives and times at the beginning of the day. Scoring is based upon who's flag is in place at the objective at the specified mission time. Usually, we will have missions every 20 minutes with the first objective at 10:20 AM. At lunch time, the missions will be spread out to accomodate players wishing to take a lunch break, however, missions will continue.

Closed Book: Missions are given to Commanders at specified times during the day, and have a set time limit to complete. Scoring is based on the teams ability to complete the missions.

Closed Book Progressive: Perhaps our most challenging scenario. One team will start with the maximum number of points, while the other starts at zero. The team starting at zero "steals" points from the other by completing missions and obtaining props. Missions MUST be completed in a specified order. Props will also be around the field which will score additional points for the team starting at zero.

Most of our games will involve props of some sort throughout the day. Some will have a positive effect for your team, while others will have a negative effect. (Ask Deebo!!) Prop effects/points will be kept a secret on some scenarios.

Generals: Generals will always be given free entry and all day air (12g excluded) for our events if pre-registered as such.

Pre-Registration: We will not require any payments to be made ahead of time for pre-registration. Our pre-registration simply comprises of you emailing us and letting us know that you plan to attend. Though we don't require pre-registration, it is encouraged so we can be sure to have enough paint on hand to cover the event. If you do wish to pre-pay for an event, we can make arrangements via paypal to do so as well.

Marker details: For our scenario events, markers must be SEMI only. Please, no ramping, no burst, and no full-auto modes during play. All markers must be able to Chrono at or below 280 fps. Chronographs will be available prior to play, and our re-spawn refs will be checking as you come back onto the field.

Miscellanious: Tanks will be allowed on specified scenario games (Operation Serpent, Spaceballs), but must have a "kill target" on them. Contact me for information on this. Grenades/Rocket launchers will only be allowed on games where tanks are permitted whether or not tanks are present. Land Mines are NOT allowed in any of our scenario games.

Facility: Our facility is family oriented G to PG rated. Please, remember to keep this in mind when the younger players and their parents are around. Also, our land-lord prohibits alcholic beverages from being on the property. If you have any questions, please PM me. Thanks, and have a great 2008!
