Our 128 cubic foot scuba tank 3000 psi (largest there is), will shoot 4 - 5 cases of paint through a Tippmann A-5. That 6 cubic foot tank might not shoot any more paint than a 68/4500.

Here is a link to a pic: Buy XS Scuba 6 Cubic Foot Aluminum Tank AL06 with reviews at scuba.com

As for how to carry - you could attach it to a vest. run it off the back via a remote?

some one know this? but it looks like scuba tanks are sized by how much volume they CONTAIN, meaning after expansion to atmoshpere, whereas pb tanks are the CONTAINER size that the air is compressed into

big difference....

Thats correct. I carry a 50cf tank to feed my dt setup. It is in paintball terms it is a 560ci tank. I can shoot 4 cases before I need air. Just go to a scuba tank specs page and it will tell you the ci of the tank.

Deadman,

Did you need to do any reconfiguration of the regulator to fit your Al 50?

I just got my Spec Op vest and think the bottle will fit nicely on the back. Now, just need to see if a standard paintball reg will work with the larger bottle. Anyone know?
Thanks
Eric

well unless you want to spend $80+ to buy an inline reg. your better off just carrying a paintball bottle.

Do you think I need an in-line reg? Could you use one of the adj. regs?
Has anyone done this? Any pics?
