Nitrogen is more consistant than co2 but the nitrogen tanks are more expensive. Co2 is "cold" gas so you have to worry about the o-ring in you gun freesing. Pretty much all guns will work better on nitrogen (with the exception of siphon guns but i do know of any).

You pretty much summed it up man........ co2 is affected by elevatoin, tempature, and weather conditoins. But compressed air is not affected by any of those.

The only gun I know of that requires liquid CO2 is the Montneel Z-1. Another thing to mention is that generally you will get more shots from CO2 than from an equal amount of HPA.

the storage chemstry of co2 is what gives the problems. c02 is stored in liquid form (which is made by the comperession of co2 till it is in liquid form) thus it needs room to expand an cange into a gass, also be carefull with unscrewing tanks because you can unscrew the the vavle from the tank and have a prussure porpelled rocket

i'm sure it has to but the point is the tank compinies could make the tanks safer with a set screw or other device that would keep the vavual in place and attached so that they wont unscrew and cause problems
