Evolve Pi Regulator Upgrade

From Mark@Evolve:

After some tweaking here and there, Evolve has made some changes to the Pi Regulator and produced one model that suits all.

1) We have eliminated the blow-off system because of public demand and ease of use.

2) We have changed the spring so that we can eliminate the use of shims. You know longer have to add/remove shims to get the desired psi out of your Pi Reg! We are offering these springs to those of you who already have the earlier LP and HP models free of charge. All we ask is that you pay for the shipping of such springs. The cost of shipping to U.S.A. and Canada is $5 USD, or £2.50 GBP for the Rest of the World. They will be sent by mail and should be delivered within 5 working days, but may take up to 14 working days. If you would like to obtain one of these springs for your Pi Reg, please send an e-mail to sales@evolvepaintball.com. Within your e-mail could you please confirm if the spring is for a LP (Low Pressure) or HP (High Pressure) Pi Regulator that you require, and include your full name, address, zip code, and preferred Paypal e-mail for shipping costs payment request. Included in your shipment will be a full o-ring kit with our compliments.

*Only the earlier LP and HP model Pi Regs need this upgrade. Please remember that these versions will still blow off at 200 and 400psi.

To install the spring:

Please follow your instructions on how to disassemble the Pi Reg, then remove the shims and replace the spring with the new one. Grease and reassemble for next use!

If you experience any creeping, replace the piston o-rings, as there may be slight damage to the old ones.
