Hydro Testing

I live in the Irmo area, is there anywhere local that does hydrotesting? please do not give me check with the local fire department line, I have done that and so far no one is responsive. Now of course if you have gone to said location and they did it for you please give their number. I have 2 tanks that need checked and 2 more that need to be tested real soon.

Also if anyone has tried mailing a tank off to a particular company could you give me a review how well that experience went?

Thanks

look in thephone book for a fire protection company. they deal with fire extinguishers and such. I got mine done at Koorsen Fire Protection here in charleston and it only cost me $12.

Some Fire Protection companies are cool. But you need to be careful that they know how to deal with paintball regulators. We used to use a FP company in New Orleans to do all of the hydros we picked up here at the shop. They put a wrench to an Air America reg and we had to buy the customer another. They're used to dealing with industrial stuff; Not pretty shiny stuff. Try and ask around for references from other players if you consider that. Lot's of good advice here...

Go with Crossfire, they have a great re-hydro service. They will even swap to one of their regs for a decent price. Warpig had a piece on their setup with pics, it was top notch.
