I think I might like to try this out. This weekend I had to rebuild my ANS regulator and what was wrong was trash imbedded into the reg seat. This might have been prevented if the amount of trash was filtered out when filling.

i could be wrong, but i'd like to see this as a new required part, the filter, on all fill nipples. it seems trivial, but it would go a long way in providing great performance.

I like the sound of it. I will have to get one. Back in the day I had a Pro-Line in line CO2 filter on my VM68 because we were getting so much trash I had to change the cup seal ever time you turned around.

For $20 each, they should have a lifetime filter. Looks like an "airstone" metal filter. Can't see them wearing out. Seriously, the features are great and it looks like it's worth the bux... We're a Bob Long dealer. I'll have to see if I can get us all a Junkie price...

Not sure about the industry first. MacDev always advertised that their tanks had a filtered fill nipple.
But still a good thing to have on your tank. A little gunk in the solenoid can cause you a lot of trouble, although that would be the worst case scenario.
