BTW, if you have long arms...you may want to invest in a 68/4500, which is a lot longer than a stubby. I had a stubby and currently have a 68/4500. I couldn't stand the stubby because my arms felt cramped. I, too, have monkey arms.. (6'7" reach actually) and the 68 fits me a lot better.

I wouldn't reccomend red loctite, you will have a real hard time ever getting that tank off again. Use blue loctite. It will hold the tank in place, yet allow you to remove it if need be. Many traveling players don't use any thread sealer, and their tanks have no problems handling that either.
