Angry Type of air system everyone uses?

I've got two air america armageddon 68/45 systems and i haven't had a lick of trouble with either of them. I'm still on the original o-rings and that was 2 years ago when i bought them.

my only problem with them is there's no real quick disconnect of sorts. you have to unscrew the tank from the reg and you loose some air. other than that, they are very consistant and easy to maintain.

had a 68/4500 2k4 maxflo, but sold it and went to a 68/5000 pmi preset because they're lighter and having an adjustable isnt that necissary.

I have a 68/4500 Conquest and an 88/4500 Crossifre. Crossfire works, but is kinda bulky. The Conquest is a great tank, hasn't given my any problems. At some point I'll sell off the crossfire and get a second conquest.

One of the biggest advantages of an adjustable tank is the ability to use it without an inline regulator on the gun. Even though the tank is heavier than the preset, removing the inline regulator will offset the added weight of the tank.

That's a bad idea. Here's why. Most guns handle 250 TOPS from the inline or the soli blows. If you run a gas through and an adjustable bottomline, you'll experience more shootdown, and in-effieciency than normal. The reason to have an adjustable bottomline is to save wear on your inline, but most inlines these days can handle it. It's always better to double reg than not. No, an lpr does not count as a second reg because it comes after the soli.

Why would u experience more shoot down and in-effieciency On my classic timmy i get alot less shoot down and better efficiency because the storage space for the regualted air is so much larger. I guess it depends on the adjustable tank you are using. I use a nitroduck and have no problems with the consistly and effienciency

If you do run only the tank reg, and the tank spikes, that will go straight to the gun. If your lpr can't break it down enough, you run the risk of blowing your solenoid. You should get less shootdown with only one reg though, since the air is only being "processed" once instead of twice. But most regs are high flowing enough now where shootdown isn't much of an issue. It's usually more of a sign that your gear needs to be tuned.
