Well the mag finally came today. I was very suprised. For my first time using a mag I was impressed for a mech gun. The trigger will take some getting used to though. I can rip on it pretty good though. My HP tank was out though so I had to use LP and it shot OK. Only chopped one ball out of 5 hoppers with very old paint. Even though everyone says its not supposed to ever chop I was still impressed with all the short stroking I did at first and how old the paint was. If any one has any pointers please let me know.

Hey rembrandt,
well you can start out with a level 10 Bolt. That need some work but it will stop your Shopping at all. Its just is a pain in the Butt sometimes. You need to take care of it. Oil it very well. Past Game (Free Finale) i had some trouble with my Mag. I just needed Oil because i havent touched it for 4 Weeks. after that it was shooting very well..... I only had Barrel Brakes sometimes because of the old Paint. You can find out if you shopp or if its brakes in the Barrel. If you take the Valve out and you have Paint on the Bolt it Shopped. If you have no Paint on the Bolt then it was a Barrel brake. But i would say, take a look for a LVL X kit and you should be good to go. Also if you take the Valve out, and Pull the On/Off out, and look in the Space the On/Off fits in, you can see if you can take a ULT or not. If you read the ULT Trigger Thread on Ao you can see what iam talking about. But anyway that will drop your Trigger Oull down to 15Oz. Its a very light pull compared to the Stock On/Off. I love the ULT. If you set it up right you can walk the Trigger. If you need anything else let me know. And on the next game we defenetly come by and see me to talk Mag |

Um... How in gods name did you use a low pressure tank on a mag without chuffing and short stroking to all hell.... Mags need the HP or you'll never shoot properly.
Also, unless you have a level 10 bolt system on it, you are going to chop. Even a factory tuned level 10 will chop paint straight out of the box. The antichop is something that has to be 'dialed in' in order for it to work like you expect it to. Also if you have a classic valve you won't be able to use the ULE trigger as HO suggested. Theres a possiblility of it working, but the valve doesn't recharge fast enough for you to really take advantage of it. It will cause you to short stroke and chop more than usual. The x-valve is the only setup that will allow you to use the ULE trigger system.

It has a Xvlave and lvl 10 already. And it also has a ULT installed. I really have no idea how I shot it with a LP tank but it shot damn good lol.

You'll see 100% improvement on HP, the higher the better. Mine likes to be around 850 and absolutely rips. One of our regulars has a steel tank that puts out about 1200 psi and his mag is unstoppable
Oh, and welcome to the dark side ![]()

Yeah I'm just not a big fan of adjustable tanks, I don't really ever plan on getting one. I just use a HP Crossfire 72/45. I've seen alot of people use it on mags so I think I'll be good.
