mini mag extras
I just got a classic mini mag at 64,I have never owned anything in the airgun designs area.Does anyone know of any upgrades I could do to it to improve its performance that won't cost me an arm and a leg?It is completly stock with the exception of a bob long expansion chamber and it shoots great now but there is always room for improvement.

I recommend you play with it awhile and see if there are things you would like it to perform better at before upgrading. I've done the upgrading route with my mag, at a high total cost and ended up putting it back to complete stock in the end to have the best performance and greatest reliablility. Trust me you never get back what you paid for when reselling aftermarket parts.

Drop Skeeter a PM, he is stupid ridiculous retarded with those guns, one day he took a mag apart, put it back together, and then chronoed it by HAND. He put his hand in front of the breech and chronoed it at 280, gave a friend the gun and he went to the chrono, and thats what it was shooting. I'm starting to think he knows more then Tom Kaye when he comes to those things, it is ridiculous...

I played with it some during the game and it chopped paint pretty bad,but the paint we were using swole up on us satuday night so I don't think the gun was the problem. It fired very accurate and had a pretty good rate of fire considering the age on it.I may take it to tt this weekend and play with it to see if it performs better.

I don't think I could trust shooting any other marker. Chopping can be quickly fixed with a well tuned level 10 bolt system. That is probably the best upgrade you could ever buy for an automag. Start with that if you want a decent upgrade to the marker. If you plan to keep it, make it yours. There are plenty of mods and upgrades to personalize it. They are always unique and distinct among the other markers. On the field, you should always be preceded by a "whirlwind of paint." Find you a good mag tech (Paintball Charleston) and you'll never go wrong.
