It comes with everything you'd really want in a mag though. Its a good price considering it includes the cocker threads, x-valve, and intelliframe. Cheaper than the ULE custom I believe.

I just bought a Tac One
Honestly, I don't know why its so cheap. (Relatively cheap) Its beautiful, durable, the intelliframe grip is amazing, the stock barrel is so much better than I thought a stock barrel could be (Dye). Lvl 10 bolt and X valve means I can shoot like a madman (27 BPS) without chopping or getting shoot down. Its really an impressive piece of machine, and it already comes upgraded, all I suggest is add a barrel kit for different paintball bore sizes and maybe a Ultra light trigger if you want a high rate of fire. Pretty much, it is one of the most amazing guns I've ever handled and I'm shocked that its not more popular, I firmly believe this thing can compete with the best of electronic markers. I don't think I'm ever going to sell mine. Well, thats pretty much it, check www.pbreview.com for the Tac One reviews and anything else, its pretty helpful. |

As posted, the Tac-One is NO different than any other mechanical mag you buy new now. It is essentially an RT Pro with the new bolt and new body. So folks will either love it, or hate it.
The LX kit is not a needed part but comes standard now. Most RT users I have talked with have admitted that they never had a problem chopping anyways. That issue seemed mostly confined to the E-series users. But since all Mags use the same valves the kit became standard for all of them. The X-Valve is actually the same valve as the RT, only made out of aluminum and not SS. It is a weight reduction and production cost issue VS one of any real improvement of the valve. But it sounds good and a lot of folks think it is an improvement, so if that makes them feel better, I have no problems with it. The intelli-frame is a great grip frame. I actually ran the contest AGD used to determine the packaging design now seen with Intelli-Frames when you buy them separately. However, I will point out that most players do not use the “intelli” feature which allows you to hook the trigger up to your hopper and activate it each time you pull it. And there are some players (I talked to one the other day) that don’t realize that you have to actually go out and buy the things needed to make it do that, they don’t come with the frame. With that said however, the combination of a nice grip frame with a double trigger and the X-Valve (or RT) makes for a very snappy trigger pull and surprisingly fast speeds. And it gets snappier the more input pressure you have. Thus if you have an adjustable tank, you can adjust the way your trigger feels/reacts by the amount of input pressure you choose. They however do not feel like the mouseclicks players are used to with electric grip frames. So people will either love the feel, or hate it. As for high ROF’s in general though…. Yes, the marker has the “ability” to reach 27BPS without chopping (IF the LX is set up correctly) and without shootdown…… IF a person could shoot that fast. But sorry, contrary to what some think, that simply does not happen. So just know that the marker will keep up with you and your hopper with no problems. I have been trying to get AGD to promote their RT Pro’s for YEARS now, but they virtually ignored it in favor of promoting their E-series markers to tournament players (which anyone who knows AGD history knows that idea flopped). And I sit back now and laugh when I read folks make rave reviews about the Tac-One as if it is somehow a new marker or superior to what AGD had put out for mechanical markers in the past few years. Why? Again, as I stated, it is not a new marker, just a new body on a proven design. And yes, it CAN compete with the electros on the market. As could the RT Pros….. and anyone who actually shot them knows that all too well. I have turned more than my share of heads on the field or target range while shooting my RT Pro, so expect the same for those who now tote the Tac-One. My only real issue with the Tac-One (as with all RT mags) is their reliance on HPA. There is a modification that can be done to the valve that will allow for CO2, but as I posted in the other thread I don’t think most players would want to bother with that, and neither do I. So that is the only weakness I can see with the Tac-One or any newer generation Mag.
