ive shot both i think there are a lot of differences. the tac one is very nice but it cant replace the a-5. the a5 is by far the most popular scenario game after the tippman 98. and in many places has replaced the 98 in this respect. the a5 is also more affordable. i dont know the exact price of a tac one but my guess is that it is more than the A-5

the a-5 is a more popular scenario gun (due to Tippmanns marketing), but does't come close to the speed, reliability, weight, and simplicity of a mag. also, its pretty cheap is you know the right people.

List of NEEDED Things for a Scenario Game
1) Mask 2) Gun 3) Money 4) Goldbond
5) Man Wipes (wet/baby wipes, but with a manly sounding name... we need em to!)
6) Pepto-Bismol

old thread here...
a good tac-one (buy used, save money) on automags.org shouldn't be a bank breaker these days.

psst psst - We have a smart parts sponsorship you could get an NXT Shocker for what you are going to pay for that tac one.
