Angel iR3/LCD Parts Guide

This guide is based off the iR3, but quite a bit applies to the LCD also. The pnuematics are all in the same place, the major difference is the addition of the COPS system, and the shape of the grip frame.

These are the lubes I use for my angel. Don't have any Love Juice or grease, but that will also work great.
White Lithium, available at most hardware stores, and pretty cheap to boot.
KC Trouble Free
Dow 33 (Shocker Lube)

The Angel Tool Kit. I highly recommend buying one of these, it makes tuning your gun so much easier. Included is the Guage, used for setting your lpr pressure. The LPR tool, for pulling the lpr piston to add/remove shims. The Ram Extractor, to pull your ram out, and the other tool, wich threads into the snap ring to make pulling the ram out easier once you have unscrewed it past the threads.

The LPR Piston is removed, with the spring stack on the shaft. The Main body of the lpr can be seen inside the marker.

This is the back of the marker, with the back plate removed. When removing the back plate, watch out for the breech rod spring, it will pop out if you don't move the back plate off slowly.
You can see the 14 way, ram, and the wires going to the on/off switch.

The sight rail has been removed, showing the 14-way underneath. This is where you go to change the plates with holes for the solid ones, or vice versa. The black plate is what holds the solenoid to the body. You need to have good tension on it, or the gasket underneath the solenoid won't seal right. The ram extractor tool comes in handy holding it in place while tightening/loosening.

This shows the grip frame and underside of the body. You can see the COPS rod sitting in the Diverter plate (black area). In the grip frame, you can see the COPS Sensor and it's connecting wire. Be very careful not to pinch this wire when reassembling the marker. A bit of tape helps keep it in it's place.
