Bakara Game Format - revised 11.23.2005

Hey all - Steers reports number teams contacted by phone and many say they are coming, but we havent been able to collect much information here or in the mail - so what to do?

Im pumped up and ready to run with Bakara as a 2 day mass game.

To make my like simple, and yours "interesting", we are gonna run this one "open book" - this means mega missions (longer duration / multiple objective), all typed up and time stamped - but all on one piece of paper - with each team captain getting a copy of all missions for his army. This means every team captain knows whats coming up next for his army and where to be next. (of course the generals may need to think hard about how to most effectively manage the resources)

!! You can act on upcoming missions early. !! (not typically allowed)

No mission cards - but missions as usual - and Ill be on site to score the missions.

Next: Base insertions for sure - maybe mash units. (I havent decided yet)

Sponsors: Ive got some goodie from Chipley and will be giving them out via prop drops - and Qloader's bootie should show up any time - (I think 3 systems) - and will will also be giving these items away via the "Prop Drop" method on Saturday. I havent heard from RAP lately.. And I imagine Del will have a few passes to Mob Wars to donate.

No raffle planned - I like the prop drop method much better as the players get to use the stuff while at the event.

note: the first missions are at 10:30am on saturday and we will run till dark - so please show up around 8:00am saturday to get all the paperwork / paint / air done. We are scheduled to run on sunday 9am till 2pm - but I plan on playing "Sunday by ear" -

paint: the flyer has circuit and xball listed for $35 & $45 per case. we will likely be getting something different than these two brands. the xball silver at super 64 was pretty disappointing (I think old), and we are having a hard time getting circuit. Recently Draxxus MIDNIGHT is my prefered paint for my sniper II's and it should price out like the Xball Silver. (Midnight runs between a .687 and .684 - flys straight, no flyers, breaks and marks well - and non-gooie) -- And this is what Ill be looking for.
