well being a fan of night play I am dissapointed about it not being in bakara,but I completly understand the reasoning.At kursk I played some night games and it went without a single problem,but not all games have that level of honesty.Maybe with the cooperation of the players we can bring night play back .

I respect whatever Thumper decides to do.

In my opinion though, this isn't going to be a huge scenario. Most of everybody will know eachother. Do we really need to worry about this?
90% of the teams are very familiar to TT.

-Just something to point out.

I love Night Play. -It's my favorite part of the scenario. I'm sad to see people not being fair. (I did encounter one guy at 64 w/ an angel who got me pretty good so I do understand)
Maybe, depending on how things go as far as attendance and so forth, maybe the night game can be reconsidered?

Night Play

What about several night play missions that do not require the use of markers?

Most night play is to simulate stealth. How about devising some night missions that would require teams to get a certain number of players to a location without being "spotted?" Or retrieving certain items from a location undetected?

Might add to the stealth simulation players seek, without the risks of injury and poor sportsmanship that night play invites.

Thumper? Any thoughts? A bit revolutionary perhaps, but we could maybe be on to something here...

Hm. You could use washable paint markers as "knives", and go markerless after dark... but that sounds like an invitation to a brawl in the end. It would be fun to sneak up behind a sentry and paint-knife him in the neck, though. Perhaps a limitation to 10-round tubes? BPS be darned, it's pretty hard to be bonusballed when they're shooting 10 rounds tops, and can't really see what they're shooting at to begin with. Surely everyone can afford a handful of tubes (or a shortened tac-cap / pod lid over a Cyclone-fed m98 or A-5). Mix that with UV paint - and an extra ref or two - and you may be nearing a solution.

Of course... I could be full of hot air. Don't look suprised; it's happened before.

Hey that is a good idea.

People without pistols/10 r.tubes go markerless and tag people or do whatever and theres no danger with being bonus balled.

hey thump im sorry to report that after a team vote silent night wont be coming to bakara
this is in no part due to u or anybody its just that because of money/time/christmas/college apps/scholarships leaves us a lil booked
some of us still MAY come but we will do so as walkons but this is a big IF
but one a lighter note we are super stoked for the mob wars game which looks awesome and has a better time frame
