tick tock - tick tock...

I just got word from Del - the paint is likely to be Draxus Nightmare which he tells me is good. We couldnt get Midnight. And he promises me NO HEAT - (which has been pretty bad). Ill make sure the pricing is good.

The field is looking awesome, and the leaves having fallen makes TT play a bit smaller since you can see further. (and for you pump players, more pump friendly)

Sponsors: I got some goodie from Chipley and we should have a few nice "Prize Props" dropped for instants collection. I still havent seen anything from the others sponsors. (Im sure Del will thow in some passes to Mob Wars)

--------------------------------------------------------------
Im doing two new things that are significant for you the players:

First: The "OPEN BOOK MISSIONS" - each team captain will have a copy of all missions for his army and is able to act on these early if he/she wishes. This should produce a few results: The teams will always know where they are needed, and the team captains will be more involved in the the leadership of the battle. (The generals will obviously need to manage this).

Second: "DYNAMIC SPAWN POINTS" : My son John-John (8) and I play Starwars Battlefront on a regular basis, and I love the spawn method (Command Posts) used in that game. It keeps the soldiers respawning closer to the action. Im working on this now. My thinking included updating the spawn points and changing them around during the game posting this on the mission summary sheets the captains will have. (changing the arrangement every few hours or so) - So generals - please keep in mind this makes the bases less important. If you plans dont include "leading from the front", you may be making a mistake - hint hint. The mash units worked OK at Super 64 - but now they become INTEGRAL to the game.

Ill take suggestions and comments on this for a while (Im doing the printing now)

That sounds like the ideal smaller scaled mass game. Not far to walk... Constant action. What more can you ask for. Just make sure that everyone knows where the spawn points are at any given point. And it helps a LOT to have a ref of some sorts at a mash station to make sure that you can medicate all paint inflicted "Wounds".

Sounds good,

it would be helpful if a ref was at each respawn point (making it easier to see/find)

is every team captain gonna have the missions avaiable or just the Generals?

update..

The missions are written -
saturday first mission 10:30am - last one ends 5:30pm
sunday first mission 9:00am - last one ends 2:00pm

18 total missions, many lasting 2 hours - scored in parts, and on the half hour.

There are 4 "regroup at the base" missions to help the command staffs regroup their army

And the spawn point move around some during the game - defined in the mission summary sheets.

Each general will get 8 sets of mission summary to distribute to their team captains (be sure to keep one for yourself) and we are using the super 64 map and general base assignments.

There are no base attack missions or spys.

This game will have some serious firefights - I guarantee it.

one request: please yall clean your old hits well when you respawn/reinsert.
