Got a scoop/event?
The second installment of the increasingly popular South Carolina Paintball Field Owners Association tournament series was a much anticipated event at Ballbusters Paintball just outside Columbia, South Carolina. Since becoming a Carolina Field Owners Association Affiliate Series, the SCPFOA has grown into an extremely economical alternative to teams out of South Carolina.

The day began a brisk 33 degrees as the 2 airball fields were being inflated. The captians meeting took place at 8:30 and play began promptly at 9:00. The day began to heat up as quickly as the competition did. The ideal paintball weather of 65 degrees with a sunny clear sky played host to some of the most intense action the series had seen in years. The preliminary round found top CFOA teams such as Mowers Inc, Pure Havoc, Cut Throat, and more battling each other in epic games often almost lasting until the 5 minute time limit.

The Novice/Intermediate Prelims finished with KMA on top, Mowers, Inc. second, SC Rage third, and Cut Throat in fourth. The Rookie/Beginner Prelims Fluid, Organized Confusion, El Cid, and Headstrong advancing to finals.
The rookie teams finished with Organized Confusion in 1st, El Cid 2nd, Fluid 3rd, and Headstrong 4th.
The Novice divisions finished with Mowers, Inc. 1st to secure back to back tournament wins, Cut Throat 2nd, KMA 3rd, and SC Rage 4th. The Mowers, Inc. received another free entry to the CFOA series in Atlanta where they will be looking to better their 6th place finish from CFOA Rock Hill.
