When is the target opening date?

Will the Lexington location be closing?

When can we walk the field?

Section 8 is looking for a local field... wanna discuss a sponsorship? We've got quite a good reputation in the area.

Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away

Right now we are in the process of getting an area cleared. As soon as it gets cleared then we will start. We hope to have the new location up before the end of April. I'll post up on this sight as to when we can get together and walk the property. If you get a chance stop by the store and let us know what you would like to see in the fields.
Thanks,
Jimmy

Congrats Jimmy, you run one of the best fields I have had the fortune to visit. You actualy care about the players who come there instead of just chasing the $, I enjoy making the trip down to play there and know that your new place will be one of the top ones in the state. It will be great for all of us players when you get your woods field up and running.I know we will be back down soon, see you then.

I've been asked by Jimmy to post-

We will be closing the current location, picking all the fields up and moving them to the new location soon. No date has been set yet though, we will keep you updated. So yes, the new field will have 2-3 very nice speedball fields, as well as 86 acres of woodsball (im having some leeway for the speedball fields, staging area, shop etc...)

The 2 large question- will there be scenarios? and when can we walk the fields?

Yes, we are planning to host scenario events, when we feel that the field is ready for them. This could take an undisclosed ammount of time to build the field the way ballbusters see's fit, but we do plan on hosting events. Next- i've been the field and i can tell you now, field walking is not going to be available until we are ready to begin building. Much of the current woods are thick and very heavy, but we are clearing much of the bush to allow for easier play. I will say this about the field: it's pretty flat.

In response to the sponsorship question- please contact jimmy privately via email, phone, or (the easiest way) visit the current location and talk to him in person.

Hope this helps.

sounds good : tip of the day... scenario reffing aint speedball reffing, and zone reffing stretches a ref staff real thin. field = ready is one thing. staff = ready is another. A number of vet refs and players have put some time into the initial draft of a scenario reffing manual on this site. Yall please holler with anything we can do to help.
