Sorry about that, the way it sounded isn't how it was meant. Came off trying to make pump players sound better than those with semis and to generally bash them. I assure you it wasn't meant that way. my apologies for that misconception.

You're both correct. Bashing isn't a good thing, so play nice... but playing easy isn't something to do.

Thumper: If just playing for fun like we were, play nice and let everyone enjoy themselves but don't limit yourself for that to happen. If you do that then you yourself probably won't ahve too much fun not being able to play agressive like you normally would then you won't get pushed up into the smaller bunkers... causing you to play harder... really push yourselves. I'll play with anyone, newbie to pro. I may get my ass handed to me but i still plan on learning and enjoying myself.

Aggsauce: If they're new, take it easy until they learn what to do and how... then start smoking them. I had my ass railed on so many times by the guys out at ballbusters but it really really helps... makes you play smart. If it takes getting shot to hell to learn how to play properly then i'm in for it... thats just something i was introduced into the sport with.

All of us can tell on the field which players you need to play soft with and which you can go all out with. It is up to us as to how we treat other on the field. I knew when I was snapping another player if he had experience or not. This was my first pump day and I have alot to learn, we all do. We learn something everytime we step on the field. Well, so does the rec player with little experience. It is up to us to set the standard, and I believe we all did on saturday. I saw excellent play and self calling as far as hits.
If a player steps on the field with us, they can tell what is happening and if they can keep up or not. If we treat them with the same respect we treat each other, they will be back again and that is what this sport is about.
If we continue in the path of growth with our sport, it will become larger of course and the cost will continue to drop as we have seen in recent years. This sport is great and I want to see it continue to grow. I want the opportunity to teach many newbs a bit here and there to help them in their futures.
I have only been on Riot for 7 months and to 3 real events, the 300, DEA/Cartel II, and Leyte. Each time I met great players and people ( some are not always the same) and learned alot about the game that I did not know. Styles of play, equipment, etc. I thought I knew alot and was a decent player, but I never knew the magnitude of the game outside my little region here in Chesnee. I hope to see all of you again soon and maybe bring me a 50% newb or two to brighten their days.
Someone set up a schedule for BB that has sat's and sun's alternating and lets get it rolling.

Its pretty easy to adjust depending on who you are up against, but do beware - sometimes vet ballers will use newbies as bait..

yall hear about the high school basketball team that won recently 140 to 21 ?
thats pretty disgusting.

I head coach my kids baseball team and the seasons is starting soon - that will certainly impact my schedule and that of section8 -- add to that the big games on the horizon - and the outlaw ball / practice stuff we do - and that doesnt leave much spare time for the normal section8 pump crew.

As for the Carolina Interceptors - it is growing. Once we get a strong local contingent it shouldn't be too hard to pull some local pump rec activities together - my until I know my baseball game schedule and practice schedule I personally have to stay pretty non-committed.

Up for whenever... let me know. I say we change up fields though. maybe move around between Ballbusters, Paintball Charleston, Paintball Central(any of the three), etc. get a bit of fresh air instead of the same fields.
