Hey Jimmy!!
Thumper Here.
From me to you - welcome to PBJunkie land. If you have any decent gunners headed down to Barbarosa, ask them to sync up with us. It might help unify the players around here, and we old timers could use some fire support. Invading Poland and Russia is hard work. And if you have anyone interested in Generaling a game for us for one of the upcoming games, we would love to have them. Also please put me on your email list for any big games or tournaments you guy are promoting. And Im sure Robbie wont mind if we post your calendar of events at TriggerTyme. John "Thumper" Edens email : john@hgwt.net c: 513.5896 www.oldschoolpaintball.net - scenario production partner. www.scroadkill.com - plank holder since '92 www.triggertyme.com - ref & player since '91 Silent Thunder - '94 to '95

2 buddies of mine and i went to ballbusters we were not too impressed.
here are some suggestions: 1. SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY!!! there were way too many safety issues. i saw a lady in the chrono range, DOWN range i may add, without goggles. One guy took his goggles off on three separete occasions when he was in the middle of a fire fight. barrel plugs were not on in the staging area. Safety is very very important to paintball. Strickter rules and punishments should be in place.2. Need more refs, and ones that know what they are doing. 3. Make the Speedball fields regulation size fields for a better speedball experience. 4. Supply more paint and a wider selection, and BYOP should be an option, no fee would be great but if u do have a fee no more than $5. 5. bring the store closer to the field. going up that hill and down that hill was not Cool 6. Prices on some of the equipment was outragous. $60 for a 12 volt revy...i didnt pay that much when i bought my first 12 volt revy almost 7 years ago, $30 if im not mistaken. dont take anything i said the wrong way, if u would take at least the first 4 suggestions into consideration u would have a fine establishment. |

Bloodyswimmingpoole When did you and your friends come? Our Rules are that when on the field you must wear your mask at all times. When off the field barrels blocking devices must be on. You say you paid $30 for a 12 volt revy. It must have been used because my cost is alot more than $30 dollors. As fare as the store and field I can't bring them closer together that is why we run a truck up and down the Hill. I have hired refs so that I would have plenty of refs on the fields. If there is any safety issues then my refs aren't doing their job and I can deal with that. Our paint Prices are $12.50 and $15.00 per 500 rounds and $45 and $55 dollors a case. Field fee is $15 per day which includes your Air for all day. We do not charge for every fill of CO2 or Nitrogen. We have the field fee and air fee all in one. If you ever decide to come back out and try Ballbusters Come by and talk with me before and after play. I like getting feed back the day of negitive or positive so that I can get it corrected. My field has always been about safety and I entend to keep it that away. The size of my fields are regulation size. there is a range of field sizes mine is on the larger size because if you have ever played world cup then you know the size of my fields are the same as world cup. Thanks for the Information.

Jimmy,
I don’t know you (as of yet), but I have to give you some kudos. BloodyPuddle obviously had a bad day at your field and I appreciate his straight candor. After he finished tearing you and your field a new one you where about as professional as they come. Good job, and thanks for joining this wonderful forum. When my son and I play rec ball we tend to play at PBC but now we are tring to venture out the other SC fields to experience more of the PB community around us. We have Ball Busters on our list and as soon as I have enough “Out of town chips” saved up we’ll be there. As part of Road Kill, I have played a few fields around the south east and I have to say that I have found something about each one that I enjoy, the one thing I do not enjoy is a lapse in safety. An example of some of the things that I have noticed, Waynes world Does not require Barrel blocking devices if you don’t have a tank on your marker, I find that unacceptable. It is almost a year and a half now sense some idiot that I know tore his cornea because he looked down the wrong end of a paintball cannon. He has not played sense. If your field has a high standard of safety, as I find in places like Low Country Paintball, Paintball Charleston and a couple of small fields I have visited up north then you can be assured that my son and I will be back.

Deadeye, If you are ever in the Columbia area stop by and introduce yourself. We are located on hwy 378 just before you get to the town of Lexington from I-20. PBC is a good place. I know alot of good people and staff down there. Safety is a big issue with me. Hope to see you soon.

I agree with deadeye i just probaly experienced a bad day out there. it happens. We were there the Saturday before MLK jr day. Paintball of Charleston is our home field and we decied to try out different fields in SC. So far we have been to Ballbusters and Ground Zero Paintball. just to clear things up i wasnt trying to be rude or bring ur place down it was just constructive critizism. When it gets warmer and i gather more green, i'll come back to visit. I read u guys changed up some of the fields sounds good. peace out
