A5 barrel threading same as Prolite/ProCarbine/F4 Illustrator?

Ok.. I've heard a couple of dozen versions. Does anyone know for SURE that the Tippmann A5 barrels have the same threads as the Tippmann ProLite/ProCarbine/ACI F4 Illustrator?

I have a F4 and I'm looking for barrels. As we all know SP and some other shinanigans put ACI out of business so as popular as the F4 once was.....parts and accessories are getting hard to come by. No one now carries any F4/Prolite barrels that I can find. I've tried the LAPCO barrel adapter site and they do not list anything for Prolite/ProCarbine/F4.

IF the A5 has prolite threads I'm in business.. otherwise the search of dusty store rooms, Ebay auctions, and Forums sales are going to be my haunts for awhile.

Any help is appreciated.

The A-5 barrel is definitely Pro-Lite threads. I don't know if it matches the F4, but it does match the Pro-Lite.

The consensus (from a number of sites and all the other info I can gleen from the ether) is:

A-5 is definitely ProLite/ProCarb/F4 threaded. There are some spacing issues depending upon the specific barrel chosen, so test one in hand before purchase.

Thanks for all the help.
