Lower pressure = longer length needed to accellerate the ball. 300-400psi -> 14" good size. 800+ psi -> 10.5" to 12" fine 180-250psi -> 16" Good bore fit = good efficiency and consistancy. I also use the quality of paint to help pick tips. @ 350psi Bad paint -> 12" - bore fitted. Good paint ->14" - bore fitted. Great Paint ->16" - bore fitted. Flat line barrels generally trash accuracy - but can lay down an impressive barrage and make up for it in volume. So I see where Zen is coming from. Any decent barrel kit will work well, but if my money were on the line, Ill look hard at the Ultralight, Sly, & Kaner kits for any < 400psi marker. For any 800+ psi marker, ?? ![]() |
