Well for long distances the flatline is better, but I prefer a 14" overall. Anything over 16" is a waste, it was been proven. Also you don't technically need a silenced barrel, just get one with alot of porting like the Ultralite. The more porting the quieter.

This is probably the most inane poll in the history of PBJunkie. In fact, I think I'm dumber for having viewed it.

I should start a new poll. "Which is better? The Mig-29 or cute little Duckies?"

Well ya, by far. But that's when you get into the 14" barrels, unless there's a flatline barrel kit I haven't heard about yet lol

14 inch barrel.

The flatline does give you extra range. But only around 10-20 yards. And by that time, the ball is going so slow there is no way it would bust.

Just buy a J&J Ceramic Barrel. It's like 40 bucks and it's the nicest barrel for the price.

i would suggest a Hammerhead barrel kit for anyone who is serious about accuracy. The reverse porting blows the sound back to you and makes the barrel silenced down field, plus the rifling gives the ball a nice rotation which in some cases i think increses accuracy and range. These are some of the meanest barrel kits on the market, so if your a serious woods/scenario player this is the barrel for you. Speeball guys dont feel left out, Hammerhead also offers a Pro series for tornament players.
