I've had good luck with Freak Kits (though I hate the look of the standard back the plain Freak Jr. back looks better). I use the Freak for my Sniper II and Automag though I've gone with Lapco barrels for my Phantom. I know some think it is a little rough on the inside but I have not problem. Thumper has just started using the Kaner (2nd edition) and seems to love it but it is considerably more expensive than the Freak System.

I have used the Pipe and Freak and I honestly do not like either. In my opinion the Freak is a better barrel. The pipe is very thin and I have seen people bend them fairly easily. If money wasnt an option I was go with the kanner system or if you have access to many types of paint go for an ultralight.

kaner rulz

I tried grendel's freak a few times on stimpy at a few away games. and when it came time to buy I put my $$ on a Kaner kit. But I think that may only be threaded for cockers (a limited others)

All things considered - I'de do it again.
