We sell a buttload of both Hammerheads and Freak systems. Kind of like the choice barrels down here. Steers noted the noise from the HH. With the way they reverse the ports, the noise signature comes back at you. The player you're shooting at gets a seriously quieter indicator. And the Freak, with an AA front, is very quiet. With the SP-8, both barrels perform on a par, (IMO). I shot a Freak and a HH on my E2AC for a while to make the comparison. I could hardly tell the difference. The pain you're going to have with any 2 pc setup is that you'll have to remove the front shroud to change backs/inserts/fins. But that's really not a big deal, unless you've got slings and straps wrapped around it. One pin out and you've got the access you need. Good luck!

I was referring to which version of the HH barrel works better with the SP8?

It's really your choice. The Torpedo front is the new standard, but they have the Bang Stixx with a mock supressor. I'm not sure what you mean by "version". They even have a tip to go on the Freak kit if you want to mix the two.

Are all of the fins aluminum. I saw one at the Bearclaw game at the vendors booth that appeard to be stainless. Are they older versions or special orders?
