Help:Barrel Kits for my A-5.

What is the most accurate and quite barrel kit for an A-5? And why do you think so?

I've been thinking about getting a J&J Edge Elite. I've also been looking at:
Evil Pipe.
Freak Deluxe.
Stiffe Switch.

I'm open for suggestion of other types as well.

Play safe and have fun,

A lot of people Love the Kaner set, other than that i like the pipe kit quite a bit, and many pump guys swear by the Stiffi as well

i have a pipe kit on my sniper 2 and am putting it on my dm3 when i get it this weekend. i've also heard good thigns abotu kaners and the empire kits but never used one enough to tell the difference. i'm not a fan of the inserts like the freaks so i stay away from those. The pipe kit is a bit loud bu taccurate for the money, convenient case, AND its gott the porting that cleans out paint after a break...

my preference:
pipe
DYE Ultralite with multiple backs
empire
kaner
large bored Ultralite
then MAYBE the a freak

It all depends. If you plan on just using it on nothing but your A-5 then I would reccomend either a Stiff! Switch kit, or the CP 2-Piece kit (very good for the price).

If you plan on getting another gun or using the kit on a different gun you already have then you should probably get an insert kit instead of a kit with backs. So you won't have to buy a whole nother set of backs just to use on that gun. For an insert kit I would reccommend a Powerlyte Sceptor Kit. I absolutely love mine and never plan to get rid of it for anything. The inserts load from the front and lock down so they will never spin or move unline the Freak.

Oddly enough I've never heard of this "kaner" barrel... Anyone care to elaborate?

Freak kit with All American tip sounds lovely to me. I don't think my 1 piece all american is all that loud but I'm never on the receiving end of my gun

Though, it's going to take a lot more than a barrel to make an A-5 quiet... Tippmanns aren't known for being the softest and most low pressure markers around Though if you want to drive a nail into a brick wall, a tippmann would be my first choice after a hammer. And the tippmann would still shoot when you're done!

I believe Kaner is the WGP brand of barrels. CP would be the cheap way to go.
