thinking about flatline

I am thinking of buying a tippman 98 with a flatline barrel but have heard alot of people say that they are not as good as the hype, I would appreciate any feedback that anyone has on the flatline before I spend the money on one.

They are very good if you want to shoot further, but are not very accurate.

Worth the money?.......yes.

They shoot farther on a flat plane, but as stated above, they are not as accurate as many other barrels. Other problems I noted when I owned one were that they are hard on paint requiring you to use harder shell paint. This adds to the fact that at long distances the ball is still travelling slow enough to cause bounces. You do have longer rang when shooting flat, but the majority of hits you get result in bounces.
