yeah i heard in cold weather they dont hold up to great. the design in the inside was the state of the art for the tippman when they came out. now if you want to spend some money the dye barrel i think, are the best for almost any gun. if you cant get smartparts, they have some good barrels for the tippman. 12-14 inch is the way to go if you go that route. but other than that flatline is better than there stock barrel that is for sure. that was a good up grade man. but like deep freeze said brittle paint shots the best through those.

Something like that. For some reason, Tippmann change the barrel threads on the old Model 98s.

Ive shot the Flatlines a few different times, and it is really nice, and it gets the paint to where you want it, but I'm not a big fan of it. Its gigundo! But then again, so is a Tippmann.

WoW

The paintballs do seem to “float” with a flatline but it could be an illusion because of the backspin, other than that there o.k.

trajectory i believe :stup jk (for usmc)
the bouncing issue is very real, our field owner has one on one of his "high end rentals" i have to agree with everyone else though...it does seem to be floating

they are good for woods ball because of there flat trajectory but the extra distance is pointless because the ball is going so slow that they wont break.

about the flatline....

The paintballs go striaght for a long long time, but at real far distances, they even bounce off lenses. IMO, better to get a regular barrel, and drop em in.
