missions..

If I know Ben (and I generaled for him at Barbarosa in Feb, 05) he issues each general a book with all the goodie in it, and then a base ref will issue mission cards to the general on or near the half hour. The cards have to make their way forward to the mission objective and turned into the ref on site to score.

He also likes the "hold for 20 minutes" kind as opposed to "hold at 2:30" kind.

But you know, im just guessing...

beats me.. At the free finale last year Bambuski (SCRK) was general for the clap after Bambi walked off (she was playnig w/ a broken foot) and Bambuski personally lead like 13 mission and got lots of bonus point for being general lead for the 12 he completed as general. Since the enemy usually gets points for capping the general this approach is a double edged sword - but that is the fun of being a general.

If you are going to leave base, I recommend leaving an XO at the base who doesnt leave and who can still dispatch mission for your in your absence - and you better know exactly what time things happen and exactly what time it is.

That is also how things were at the scenario in February with Thumper and I working. One of us stayed behind to issue missions with the other person out on the field having fun and stirring things up.

Thumper, let me check with Brad. I think he is shooting to come up there next weekend. I have to travel to St. Louis right after the scenario, so I am kind of leaning against going, but if Brad can't do it I will probably fill in. I'll let you know tomorrow night or Monday at the latest.
