I could not imagine coming down from NY to bearclaw. I certainly wouldn't bring a tank that far. I am looking foward to comeing to bearclaw. Its the first time for me and my teammates. We finally get to try a new field.

Hahahahaha...the grinch base. So all tanks will have to insert from their base then? Or at least the nearest navigatible point? I love driving thru the grinch base blowing it all the heck up whilst the owners watch helplessly from the safety of the safe zone. I did it 4 times one game...Market Garden.

Suzie: With all the big rigs coming do yall have a plan to keep the top tram road open or is something else in the works? Is the bottom creek crossing at the 'grinch base' going to get some attention so smaller tanks can get across?
I love that road that leads to it. Full of tanker mayhem and satchel hiding spots.

Upper road plans...

The shuttle will run only on the lower field level... the largest tanks will have the run of the pavement all the way to the house . Since the house has two huge paved turnarounds we felt this was the better plan. We are working on a culvert with gravel at the lower level you speak of . You know the creek bed at the lowest elevation (below the castle ruins). We are also cutting some trees at specfic turn points to accomodate larger tanks. Some of the largest tanks remain to be seen about how much run of the field they will have. Of course with so many people coming from so far away we don't want anyone disappointed if we can help it. We have decided to make the road to camping immediately beside the pro shop (where it is still paved) as a just in case it is muddy. This is a level spot to go into the back 40 acres. We also have a culvert and gravel planned there. If you can think of any trouble spots from previous games please let me know so that we can access and address as need be. In case I didn't make the shuttle road clear the shuttle will run from the pro shop through camping to the Russian re-insertion and from the pro shop to the World War II base outside of the field boundaries.

Smoke Grenades at Kursk

Yes you may use cold smoke...if you need further clarification I'll have to defer to Robert on that one. There will be lots and lots of "toys" at this game. Land mines, grenades and all kinds of anti tank stuff.

Thanks for the reply. We have 2 landmines that we will be bringing. I know were to get cold smokes from. I just wanted to make sure that we could use them before I ordered a bunch of them.

you think Chris could pilot this old thing? Either way, we could take out more trees this way.
