I see it different on this one ref. I think the instant (5 man insertion rule) ate us alive at Stalingrad the first day. The russians were 30 secs from their base and we were 5 mins from ours. I actually saw Russians insert and beat me to our base (young in shape punks!) before I could drag my sorry carcass across the length of the field to insert. Once this rule was changed to even insertions out we took it to them 4 to 1 on points.

The object as stated was to give 'the players as much time on the field as they could humanly handle'. 4 or 5 could go in or 20 mins whichever came first. Course, this subject should go go to the stalingrad thread.
