….Well if I get 20 balls in the air a second I can hit you every time….

Well good for you, I’m duly impressed.

Lets figure this out, lets say a case of paintballs cost you $50 and there are 2000 balls in a case this means each ball costs 2.5 cents each. 20 balls x $0.025/ball = $0.50 in one second and realistically unless you get the drop on me or any other half way competent player you might get me a 1/3rd of the time. So given my assumptions it is going to take at least 3 seconds of firing total to get me and that equals $1.50 to get...

Do I really need one of those expensive barrel kits?

Posted 09-15-2007 at 07:11 AM by Grendel
No. Now that is a simple answer to what could be considered a complex question.

Here is a fact about paintballs you may or may not know paintballs are not .68 cal. I do not think I’ve ever knowingly used paintballs that are really .68 cal. I’ve bought paint as large as .694 and smaller than .679. In addition your paint can vary in size in the same case and change through the day. Currently my experience is that paint has gotten tiny. Chad Johnson to leap into the dog pound

Posted 09-14-2007 at 05:40 PM by Junkie
I'm watching sports center and they said Chad Johnson plans to jump into the dog pound in Cleveland if he scores this weekend.

He got serious sack to be doing that. They'll hurt him.

What do you think?

How the Hell Did you hit me from there?

What makes a paintball gun accurate? Or why is your gun more accurate than mine?

First my paintball gun [yes, gun not marker if I wanted a “marker” I’d pull a Sharpie out of my pocket] is just a tool it has no innate ability to make accurate shots. It does, “what I tell it to do”. My gun is more accurate than yours because I know my gun and what it can and can not do and then I AIM it. No spray and pray for me, I’m not rich and I take pride in making my shots count.

Tuning a Sniper II Gendel's Way

This is how I like to tune my Snipers (assuming you are going for low pressure).

1) Get a good low pressure gage

2) Get a good USED (this is important) regulator I like Stabilizers, ANS GenX-II, AKA Sidewinder or CP (non-CO2). I like used or well exercised 1000 cycles or more so I'm sure the spring pack has settled in for more consistency shot to shot. New regulators tend to flake out on consistency at bad times.

3) Have multiple, different spring rate,...
