My first paintball gun that I actually owned was a brass eagle talon...I bought it when I was in high school...sometime around 93 maybe...not sure....

Ah, I thought you were talking about "old school" Brass Eagle....You know, when they were still a Canadian company that made good products.

The first marker I owned was a Brass Eagle Blade. That was in 2001.

yeah i wold say rainmakers are the best brass eagle gun, i played with a guy that had one before and it shot ropes....next to that i'd say the Stingray is the next best

I'd go for the Raptor. I've shot all of the guns, and I definately like the Raptor the best. I modified mine with a 16" rifled barrel and an expansion chamber/regulator. The only problem I've had with it is that the stock connecting pin shears when you fire faster than about 3 bps. It can fire up to 6 bps without chopping, which isn't bad for an old-school BE gun (IMO).
