Government Recalls 243,000 Paintball Markers

More news:

About 243,000 paintball markers, manufactured by Brass Eagle, are being recalled, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Wednesday.

The CPSC said the carbon dioxide cartridges can be forcibly ejected out the back of the Black Turbo paintball marker and break the plastic screw-on cap.

The CPSC said the person using the paintball marker could be hit by the cartridges or the caps.

There have been seven injuries reported involving the paintball markers.

The recalled Blade Turbo paintball marker is bright blue with a black handgrip on the nozzle. Two carbon dioxide cartridges are inserted into the back of the marker covered by a clear plastic screw-on cap.
