I used to shoot real guns for fun at Shooters choice on Wednesday nights competing for rankings and the occasional trophy. Some of the old school guys there told me of a competition where they would line up a few bowling pins on a table and each team was allowed to bring one shot gun and 2 pistols. And the competition would start, and who ever cleared the table in the fastest time would win.

It just so happens I have 10 little bowling pins and a I see a first ever event friday night. 3 man teams - 1 semi and 2 pumps - If you dont have a pump, you can remove the hopper and hand feed balls.

And we play for the best time to clear the table. Im sure we can come up with a prize for first place.

Say Friday 8:00 PM sound about right?

wait so we have to have 3 man teams eh? why not just 1 man teams and you pay 5 bucks like lil bets.. kinda like pool and winner takes all?

lets start w/ a team competition to make it fun for all and once thats over,
we could do a couple of variations -

least balls used - one on one.
fastest time - one on one..
long ball - one on one..

no entry fee - just for fun.

anyone?


ps: john john and I just tested this game. around 40 to 50 feet should be fun, with 9 pins on a 4' x 2' table.

Hmm.... 8:00 PM. If I'm doin' my 'ands' and 'gozz'intas' right, that'll be an average of three beers per person. Should make for an interesting competition.
