I went to the air show at MCAS Miramar here in San Diego. The blues always put on a great show. Take some pics, you'll have to be fast on the shutter!

thats where you go watch airplains fly around. sometimes helicopters, often people skydive.

But usually they are really cool

ohh i went to the shaw airforce base's one. It was pretty cool but one of the pilots died because of a engine problem and that really sucked

I saw the last one at jacksonville. Right on the beach. they even had an all out beach assualt with destroyers, F-18s and what looked like black hawk helicopters. the marines landed In LCACs and rolled out on the beach in striker vehicles

LCACs are some loud beasts. The ship I was on carried three of those suckers on deployment, took a ride to a Kuwaiti beach in them once.
Harriers are fun to watch too, they crank out some noise as well. I love the sound of my tax dollars at work!

I know the runway sweepers don't agree with your love of the AV-8. There is nothing like checking out the damage caused to a runway that isn't designed specifically for harriers when they do VTOL.
