Dye's/Proto's standpoint on eBay/PBR/PBN and the 06 line up

Found this on pbnation. Not sure how true it is:

The official word I recieved today from dye....

The following items are not to be sold at auction, period:

C6 Jerseys
C6 Pants
C6 Gloves
DM6 Markers
I3 Goggles
Ultralite Frames

Proto '06 Jerseys
Proto '06 Pants
Proto '06 Gloves
PM6 Markers
Axis Goggles

We are very serious about this policy. Any violations to this policy will result in a suspension of your account at DYE Precision, or a suspension from the distributor you purchased the items from. And their status with Dye and Proto will be reviewed for account closure. This policy is put into place to help protect you the Dealer, who stocks and represents our product line, and to make maximum margins and dollars with us.
Everyone is asking for better margin in paintball, and we want to give that to you.

There is no stronger relationship that Dye and Proto has than with our Dealerbase. We want to make sure you are profitable with Dye and Proto Paintball Products!

Thank you in advance for what looks like to be a very exciting and successfulyear with Dye and Proto Paintball.

I completely support that decision. When small retailers, even garage based ones, sell their stuff on ebay for dirt cheap they undercut the price a store owner needs to charge to make ends meet. That hurts, and will help drive a store out of business.
As long as Dye keeps the policy to only their new product line, stores can also fall back on the internet to move last years product out of their inventory.
