ummm...i'll look at the bushmaster if you like. so apparently grant didn't know he was actually getting the gun until last night. i basically flat out told him, but i thought he would have easily figured it out by then! whatever so i will look into them and let ya'll know. i'll also ask him what he thinks of them.

also he will have a hopper thanks to rembrandt!!! but he needs a 4500psi tank as well. so i will have to buy that with the gun. this isn't a huge deal b/c i've seen several that have the tank with them so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. price is not a concern if it is under 400 so the tank and gun even if bought separately would still be less than that.

dude!!
first of all the bushmaster looks like crap! i dont know much about paintball guns but hell i know when something is FUGLY!!!! i cant believe a paintballer would suggest for a "GIFT!!" a fugly pos gun....you may as well tell me to go to walmart and pick up a 20 dollar gun!!! jeeezzus man!!! gosh...

Kelli I'll send the hopper out Monday the UPS here ain't open today. I'll keep looking for an Ion and tank combo for under $400.

im sorry that was really harsh!! i apologize but grant doesn't need and im sure doesn't want a plastic toy-looking gun...he may currently be playing with a big purple gun but come on yall!!!
oh yeah im trying to find some non-black ions especially b/c they are kinda boring and i dont know how well he would go from bright purple to plain black... lol thanks yall and sorry again, Kelli aka Gimpy

well Smart Parts doesn't sell them Brand New in any other color but Black. So if you get it brand new then you will have to buy a body kit for it in a certain color which is only like 40 bucks. Used Ions it will be easy to find in any color.
Is there a certain color in particular you think he would like. They don't make purple lol

personally i like blue and red and silver for the ion...grant could care less im sure...to him a gun is a gun...i mean he is using a purple gun so what do you expect?!!?!?! i want to get the ans ion or at least a new one but a used one may be what he gets...depends what i can find so if yall find anything let me know!!!

hmmm...
sorry if im getting on anyone's nerves...but yall are being good sports and i appreciate all your help!!!
i have another question as usual...what is a good brand of nitrogen tank? im shooting for 4500psi...but i dont know about brands and whether i should go ahead and get one new or is it better to get one used?! let me know your thoughts!! thanks yall, Kelli aka Gimpy

It don't realy matter new or used as long as you find one in good condition. Crossfire is probably the best brand but are fairly expensive. But like I said it doesn't matter as long as it works for him.
