Have any of you been in a car accident before?

Well today when I was drying off after first period at school (I have swimming for my first period class) my phone started vibrating. My gfs mom was calling me, so I answered since I was in a locker room and there were no teachers around. She told me that my gf had gotten into a pretty bad accident driving to school that day (around 9am) and she was going to the hospital to get some x-rays done. She is fine, minus some burns on her face and neck from the gunpowder from the airbags.

This got me thinking about any other storys you guys may have from any accidents you may have been in or seen...take it away.

yes... and i still drive this thing everyday... even drove it home from the accident... and drove it like this all busted up for weeks...

As for me, Took out a 30 foot section of fence in highschool. Got T-Boned at an intersection delivering pizzas eleven years ago. FLipped my first motorcycle over backwards doing a wheelie. High sidded my third bike, then low sided it a couple weeks later. T-Boned a cadilac on my forth motorcycle. Stopped riding motorcycles as I appearently wasnt any good at it. Then I actually had a guy merge over on top of me a month ago. Sucked for him. I was in my old truck and his new car didnt hold up quiet as well.

My first two were my fault. Young and couldnt drive. The first three on the motorcycle were my fault. More balls then brains. The last motorcycle wreck witht he cadilac, was the little old ladies fault that didnt see my bright red motorcycle with the headlight on. Then the last one, old guy who didnt see anyone in the lane I was in...

My driving got better with age. And my riding got better when I realized fun wasnt worth dying for.

i have 2 pins in my left knee , right knee compleate replacement, left foot has a bolt in it, and my head has a dent in it from where the helmet crushed in, nothing like getting hit but a drunk doing 110 when you sitting on your motorcycle at a red light

Ohh, man. Motorcycles are dangerous enough looking out for the ones that are sober. Please tell me they through the book at him. Chappy you are truely a lucky man. God was looking out after you.

I got T-boned by a drunk driver and broke my thumb. I also got rear-ended a couple years later and had a serious case of whip-lash. Wearing that neck brace was more of an embaresment than anything I have ever done.

I have been in 11 wrecks,first one was my fault,the other ten I was riding with other people.The one that was my fault was amazingly like jesters,got t-boned by a monte carlo ss delivering pizzas about 12 years ago.It totaled my 79 trans am,they found pieces of my car in the adjacent car dealership.Some how I came out of it without a scratch but the other driver sued me for $25000 and of course won it.

How did it happen?

I have never been in any wrecks besides fender benders when others were driving.

I have only been in fender benders, but was in EMS/Fire for 5 years and saw my fair share. And just to clarify Gatlin it is not gunpowder, what your girlfriend got "burned" by was a powder that is on the bag to keep it from sticking together in the case, so that when it goes off it just flies out without anything holding it back even a little, FYI. Glad all is okay, next time your at a scenario and the Ghost Squad is there ask for DOC and I'll share some stories.

Over the years I've had several. My tank driving shows it! Worst one was a roll-over in my 1962 VW Bug. No seatbelts and I crawled out through the sun roof when it quit rolling. 6 weeks later I totaled my mom's 1968 Comet.
