Huckabee Commits Political Hari Kiri

YouTube - Huckabee: Amend Constitution to Reflect God's Standards

"I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution, But I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living god. And that's what we need to do -- to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view of how we treat each other, and how we treat the family"

PFFT separation of of church and what?

Whose gods standards are you wanting us to conforming to Mr. Huckabee???

I know we are in the bible belt and some of you may have actually thought about Voting for Mr. Huckabee, but here is a question is it ok for your to impose your religion on other people according to the founding principles of this nation?

The constitution is what made America what it was. We have no right to force our religion on others. We need to be mindfull about religous extremist in our own religon not just Islam. America isnt about religion, its about freedom. And fredom of religon is perhapse our most important.

The next presidential ellection is so important. We need to choose with care. I dont care your politics or who you like. But we need someone who can get us out of this hole were in.

Our country was founded on Judeo Christian values and the freedom of religion was meant for all denominations to worship as the saw fit within the realm of their denominational beliefs. One could also practice other religions as well too, seeing Judaism was found in the colonies as well. However our Founding fathers knew that only a good moral man whose internal values emulated what God wanted out of leader was to be the head of the Government.

Today we have just the opposite those who claim to be Christians going to church for a show and then all the while supporting and eliminating god out of the public eye or allowing just the opposite what God calls acceptable behavior. These intellectual idiots even allowed an Islamic Priest (Imam) to open up the Texas legislature with a prayer.

I am not a practicing Christian or do I live the lifestyle fully however I see the benefits of it and I also see that our country became great under a supreme Being (God) protecting us and I also see our country falling by us allowing those Liberal intellectual elitist to eliminate God from our thoughts and minds, our public places, and most of all from our Government. These people are nothing more but an elitist boys club and someone women also, who want to eliminate God from our country so that they can become our savior, does this sound Familiar to anyone...

I don't see the point of someone arguing against an Imam giving a prayer prior to the Texas legislation. The Islamic faith is based on a single god and believes in Jesus the same as Judism does.

First the Imam is a radical, sort of like the KKK and do they really represent the true Christian Believers?

Next Christians, Jews and Judaism all have a different perspective on who Christ was however that was not my point which you must have missed or maybe I did not present it clearly, either way I will try again.

The Texas legislature allowed a Imam to open the legislature with a prayer, even though this same Imam represent a sect of radical Islam who profess that all should bow to Allah either willingly or by the sword.

Now if I took My Spyder and pointed at you and said you either can bow to the Christian God or die and then the legislature asked me to open the assembly in Prayer, every liberal weak knee intellectual idiot would be up in arms, that is my point.

Our Country was found on Christian ideas however within those ideas was thought not to prescribe one domination or religion for the country and that everyone can worship the way they see fit. But today the Christian is the one who cannot do this without having their rights infringed upon. Think about it…
Yes to the one who said though salt not killed and in times past Christian did but today they are not waging a crusade and have learned to live in peace with other religions.

I guess my point is do not talk politics on a paintball website and that point is pointed at me....

hmm And what ideas are these specifically? I am assuming if you are going to make a statement like that .. TWICE. you have some proof.

NO religion has any place in a governing body period, because they are always going to seek to impose their ideals over other people.

Where do you stoke with your Judeo christian ideals? Stem cells... Abortion? Gay marriage? what does the bible say about gay people? should we just put them down like stray animals? You put the right person in the WHite house people are going to start being required to go to church.

Lastly? how can christians not worship as they see fit? People have a strange idea of god. Can you be a spritual Christian follow all the canon and be just as good as the guy that goes to church? Some christians think so.

Very true but there is a difference...most religions and those that follow said religions claim that it is wrong to kill...those without religion don't have any written guidance that tells them it is.
