I was at a rec ball field, it was about the second or thrid set of games we played that day. any way the was this newbie and about ten or twelve. to make a long story short during the game he called him self out with being hit. well i start a sring of shots and as my fourth or fifth shot leaves my barrel the kid runns across my line of fire and takes one of my shots in the back (not my fault becaues i did not see him comming and by the time the i saw him and stopped shotting my pervous shots were in place to hit him). the kid screams like he had been seirously injured, the ref stopped the game just like should happen and brought the kid off the field. he was un injured so he plays the next game and he calls him self out once again and i sitting out. he got hit by a stray round, and beagan once again to scream and roll around on the ground. this time the refs simply pulled him off the field. i did not see him for the rest of the day.
i don't think he will be playiing again, and the moral of the story is the age limit is only a guide line think before intruducing young players to our sport they may have a bad experance and not play again

I agree that some people are just not meant to play paintball. No sport is made for everyone. But the attitude we have toward new people will have a huge effect on their experience, and their decision to come out and play again. Moral of the story: Don't be an ass, help people out if they are new or have questions.

Yeah the 10 year old limit is good but you also have to be mature enough to take the shots.
