new vault commercial
ok so whos seen the new vault energy drink commercial? it got people playing paintballand i was almost impressed by it because every one except the main character was wearing the proper face protection. its kinda nice to get that kind of exsposure for woodsball in a tv commercial but it would be nice if its done right. this includes movies, and tv shows like american chopper to keep safety a priority.

Really, I have a different take on the commercial.
LOTS of safety violations!!! Some approved eye protection but what about the rest of the head? LOTS of "goggles off / barrel plugs out" moments. I'll watch for it again. Don't even remember seeing a barrel plug in the commercial! There were several shots where the "star" had his goggles up/off while there were live markers in the shot. The paintball part kinda sucked. The squirrel cruelty was quite entertaining.

Hey I was watching CSI NY last night and there was a whole episode on 2 paintball players!!! I knew CSI Miami had a little story about some kids useing paintball guns in a bad way. However this CSI NY was about actualy paintball players, good show.

Commercials are for selling stuff. If they were putting out a safety video, it'd make sense to pick it apart.
People not being safe, in paintball or anything else, is all part of natural selection.....

but if your gonna use a sport as part of a commercial it should shoe the safety part of it.. most. now i said most commercials you see with a football reference and people getting tackled the tackler is wearing full safety gear

see in most movies they don't have the mask because the stars want there faces shown. SWAT, Jarhead, however in a commercial they should have full head gear. That's why CSI was a cool episode to me.
